Fluke Networks invite you to join us for a free technology seminar, focusing on recent standards changes, testing links for ANSI/TIA-1152-A compliance and the Road to Category 8 cabling solutions.
In June, ANSI/TIA-568-C.2-1 was ratified, giving us a cable and component standard that we can use formally to build and test Category 8 links.
Testing Category 8 cabling solutions is not about having the frequency range - it is about being able to measure the permanent links and channel accurately, using RJ45 style connectors for Category 8, which is what the TIA standard requires.
Wayne Allen, APAC Product Marketing Engineer for Fluke Networks, will discuss testing of these technologies and the path we took to get to Cat 8 cabling and how it can be tested correctly using permanent link adapters and channel adapters on a field tester.
